Then they make shit up, sound confident, and mislead people. All it needs to do is also repeat the same four tired memes, and it would be a high karma user.

If you can sound confident in a reddit-y way, being right doesn’t matter. If it seems like the threads going that way just disengage, it’s not worth it.
