In this video we pay them a visit and discuss the evolution of carnivory and how it’s related to geology, how elevation affects temperature in the tropics, lighting, humidity and evaporative cooling, and the great diversity among all the plants that have independently evolved carnivory to compensate for low-nitrogen soils.
