    @bdonvr, until now the Vivaldi devs have done it very well and blocked all intents of Google to control Chromium.
    Apart Vivaldi is an European cooperative and Google there can’t do anything he want. As say, nowaday is irrelevant which engine are used, and even Google knows that controlling the engine (FOSS) is not a viable methode to control the internet, due multiple attempts in the past that failed, so now this crap with MEI DRM for webs, the ring to rule them all.
