I had one of the lemmy.ml people tell me that this was all Putin’s plan from the beginning, just to invade like 100 km across the border and stop there for 2 years to bleed the West dry in an extended war of attrition, and it’s going perfectly according to plan, and now that the whole of the West is running out of industrial capacity to even be able to sustain the war anymore, they’re almost ready to move on to phase 2 where they start winning again and take over Ukraine.
