That is circular reasoning, it’s not the actual definition of “liberal”, even if it is the functional definition of “Democrat”.
I don’t want to know how thoroughly brainwashed you have to be to conflate democracy with utterly anti-democratic concepts such as capitalism and colonialism, but my guess would be… pretty much totally.
