Woof I was tired last night for this one. Yesterday was a looooong day.
This Hawkridge aftershave doesn’t seem to be sold in the US. I found it a while ago at a Marshall’s or T.J. Maxx. People on Fragrantica say it smells like JPG Les Males.

Tremendous shave today. One of those where everything just clicked. Super slick, drippy lather, a silky smooth Frio wedge, intoxicating šmellz. This is how it’s supposed to be.
Lavanille is a master piece. I keep being surprised by new facets of it.

Bon Monsieur is probably my favorite soap at the moment – a really great scent, and a great base as well. After my Sunday hone, shaving with the kamisori is still as comfortable as before, but a slight bit sharper. Nice!

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
The Socialite was a perfect choice to combat the heat wave we’re having. The morning was actually quite pleasant at zero dark thirty and as I type this in the early evening, there’s a breeze that is keeping things quite tolerable … so long as you don’t move very much.
This razor belongs to u/Impressive_Donut114 and this was a test shave. I only have one, 4/8 razor myself, a Fredrick Reynolds, and I used it yesterday. The edge on that razor is excellent. Today’s shave with the 4/8 Hartford was every bit as good as yesterday’s but it was a little closer and a little more comfortable. A very successful shave.

Barbershop day today! Went and got myself a Fresh Cut Fade. Dude I went to is solid and does clean work. Honestly, I should go to him on a regular basis. He’s very consistent. He can’t shave with an open blade
I also shaved off my full goatee today. Rocked that one for over a year. No trimming, 3 passes, no nicks. Still got it.
I’ll probably keep clean shaven for another week or so, then start forming another one. I enjoy wearing a goatee. The Mrs also likes me with a little facial hair too.
