Why is this the third or fourth fox news link posted to lemmy in the last several hours?

    Not. Even. Once.

Is Fox News blacklisted/banned on this community? If so I’ll delete the post.

It’s just one of the many, many mainstream media sources I have in my RSS feed, and I pretty much notice posts at random.

Fox News owes Dominion almost a billion dollars for lying. Smartmatic is suing them for over $2 billion for the same series of lies.

They also once went to court to argue that they are not a news source.

Why would you use them as a source for anything?

Based on the user post history, I’d say you’re arguing with a sealion and they are posting in bad faith.

Were these cases over on-air statements, their opinion articles, or their news articles?

You either are incredibly ignorant of your sources or you’re feigning ignorance to pretend like you don’t know Fox is a terrible source. I’m thinking the latter.

One of these days, I’ll need to look into fact checkers’ evaluations of Fox News as a news source. How the heck are they rated farther to the right and less credible than Breitbart? That makes no sense to me.

Breitbart is rated a tick further to the right with the same credibility rating as far as I can tell.

Interesting, last I checked they weren’t but maybe their rating got updated or I was looking at a rating from a different organization.

MBFC is garbage. I’m honestly surprised they rate Fox this poorly.

They rate at least one source poorly for daring to use the word “genocide” for what’s happening in Gaza. You still agree with all their ratings?

Depends on how poorly they rated them. They definitely deserve negative remarks for that since it’s an unproven claim.
