Might be an unpopular opinion, but I really think zinchenko holds us back in a defensive aspect.
Attacking wise I fully understand what he brings to the team, but defensively, he gets caught out and makes stupid mistakes way too many times. His concentration somehow just disappears at certain moments, and when you’re trying to defend a lead, you absolutely do not want him on the pitch.
He can’t play against pacy or crafty wingers for too long.
But against Palace?
While I feel like Ø and Vieira can’t work together because of their overlap, what do you think about this?
nah. He’s comparing apples to oranges. Though if Ødegaard could go across the line and help on the left as well I think we could be better, he’s the better player rn. If only just.
