Likely if nominated, he’ll win based on the Pitt combined with er being seen favourably in hindsight and not being awarded for it. The Pitt is good and he’s good in it, so it’s not undeserved. Although it’s an ensemble cast, he’s the heart of it and there are some other great performances.
