I’m only the bass player and vocalist, but I don’t have band members right now so I just use an easy programming of guitars and drums. I also still program the bass too because my tracks are written for 7-string bass, and I currently don’t have a 7-string. I used to play 6 string basses regularly, but I lost that after leaving [man responsible for my birth]'s house and never coming back to retrieve it.
I write music two ways, depending on whichever I’m vibing with: MuseScore and Songsterr. Songsterr is good and easy for tabs, and it’s a website rather than a program so you can handle it all in a browser, but MuseScore is better for sheet notation.
Songsterr comes with high-quality audio, and I typically just plug that into my DAW (Ableton) and mix it to sound a bit better; that’s how I made this one.
It’s MIDI!
