    It was a horrible rebrand, on par with twitter to X. It did not need a rebrand, no one thought it did, and like everyone I knew subscribed to it.

    What I heard was that HBO meant premium but they wanted to throw other ATT slip on there so they decided to rebrand.

    I think marketing was bored and wanted to justify their existence
