    With most tabletop games produced overseas, many in China, the impact could be devastating. Developers and publishers are sounding the alarm.

    I mean… chase short-term cost-cutting…

      Boardgames are customised and low quantity products that can’t really be manufactured efficiently anywhere else. It’s hardly practical for publishers to pay 2-3 times the cost to have them produced elsewhere.

          Nobody said it’s impossible. The retail price of boardgames will just double to triple. Which will then cause the market to shrink, demand to fall, and even less economies of scale. Just what we want for the hobby.
