Depends which ones you compare it to. It’s from the mid 1980s, so don’t expect stellar animation. There’s some filler, but nothing on the levels of Naruto or DBZ. Personally, I wholeheartedly rate it as “watch it”, or “MUST watch” if you want to know where the manliness of Japanese media peaked.
He also catches an arrow with only 2 fingers, then flings it back using only said fingers. There’s also the time he throws a large spear back at some dude over 1km away
Or when he shoots ki with his ginger, as if its bullets! Or when awakes from sleeping on a table, and leaves it so powerfully and manly that said table simply disintegrates!
