There was even a time when AMA guests would just do the AMA for fun, or to get in touch with their fans. Not just when they are starring in a new movie or show / have “written” a book or some other financial motivation looming overhead.

or political motivation. i can name one that occasionally comes on reddit to do his amas. and posts pics of the “vets” he support.
