The non-damned (i.e. resistance-maximizing) course of action is to engage in work-to-rule/work slowdown, malicious compliance, various forms of sabotage (e.g. as described here, especially the stuff under “(11) General Interference with Organizations and Production” for modern office workers), and/or even sitdown strikes until they catch on to what you’re doing. Then it’s time to get out.
