BRUSSELS — After years of reducing its reliance on Russian gas, the European Union is moving to turn off the taps completely within the next two years.     Better late than never, I guess.
    It’s a goddamn scandal, since the begin of the invasion Europe has transferred more money to Russia than to Ukraine.
    And since the oil and gas companies are all state-owned, 100% of that money went straight into the war chest.

    As much as I hate Trump - the guy is right about China. Chineese are buying all the other gas - $245bn last year and that money is buying lots of weapons.

    Under the plans, imports of all Russian gas and liquefied natural gas to European Union member states will be banned by the end of 2027.
