Remember in starship troopers they had co-ed showers. If we can fight bugs while accepting gender neutral showers, wtf are we even doing today?

    I’m doing my part.

I am not sure that a movie depicting fascism should be the thing we aspire to

The movie is a jab against that idea.

as [Paul Verhoeven, the director] states in the film’s DVD commentary, the central takeaway message of Starship Troopers is that “War makes fascists of us all.”

I am aware it’s anti-fascist in message, but i’d recommend watching Lindsay Ellis’ video about satirizing nazis/fascists, the main point being that message is often lost on people and just makes it look cool, see people clamoring for the Warhammer 40K Universe and space marines

Focusing on the gender neutral showers. Not the military = citizenship thing.
