I’m not OP, but from the timeline it seems legit.

Timeline:

  1. OP posts comment
  2. Mod removes comment with no reason
  3. Mod post the exact same comment that was removed
  4. OP complains and shows a screenshot.

Edit: User says there was a reason-

My comment was similar to Stupes.

The reason for it being deleted was the same as his reply to Stupe

That means the mod removed the post because it was similar to an entirely different user and then posts the same thing as the user’s comment that was removed, 15 minutes later.

I don’t understand the why of this? I’ve seen him be great, what is the point of all this.

EDIT 2: This seems to be my mistake or OP was fibbing. Regardless, still a little weird, but feel free to go after me if you feel necessary. I apologize for the drama.

That was the first comment, not the second. You’re mistaken on what is happening.

Also, why did he post the exact same thing and not just restore the guy’s comment?

I am no fan of jordanlund but this seems like an actual mistake. He did remove the comment with the apparently intended reply text and has since restored the original post.

The whole thing makes it look like jordanlund is incompetent because he couldn’t tell the difference between a reply and a removal reason. Maybe they look the same, I dunno because I don’t mod anything.

It was restored once they realized what happened.

I didn’t see any other comment removals in the modlog. Posting the modlog is a rule here for a reason. If my understanding is incorrect then you need to prove that in a way that can be verified.
