I actually watched the first episode of The Inbetweeners yesterday and I loved it. I saw my teenage self more times than I care to admit in that episode.

I’ve really been enjoying Resident Alien. It kept being advertised to me and I finally caved. Alan Tudyk plays an alien trying to be human so well.

Recently decided to go back and watch Malcolm in the Middle. I watched it some when it first came out, and I kind of liked it. As a parent, it hits differently, and I like it a lot more.

ETA: as a new show, I really enjoy Hacks.

It’s been a good while since I watched a comedy show, but I love The IT Crowd.

Edit: Silicon Valley was fun too :D

AP Bio is a good one that’s also set mostly in a school. I tried a few episodes of Abbott Elementary and it didn’t reel me in the same way, I need to go back and finish a season to give it a fair shake.

Rick and Morty, it’s dark, it’s obnoxious, it’s VERY intelligent while VERY lowbrow. There’s character arcs and growth. It’s hands down the best comedy on TV right now.

Ghosts (US). The reason I’m watching the US version and not the original UK version is that I followed Rose McIver there from iZombie. I’d like to check out the UK version but I’m not sure how closely the US version follows it and I don’t want spoilers.

Other than that, I think I get most of my comedy from cartoons these days. Like Harley Quinn or Hazbin Hotel or whatever.

The UK version won’t spoil the US version. The two storylines diverge pretty quickly. I saw the UK version first, and like it better.

Ah, thanks for the being the first person ever to let me know after mentioning that I’m unsure how similar the two are, on any platform. Glad to hear it, I’ll definitely add the UK to my growing watch list then.

I Think You Should Leave, followed by the forever classic Peep Show. Also Gary and his Demons for an animated show
