Yeah, that scientific core of her character is important, I think. Her embracing magic as “a different form of science” …sounds a bit like a convenient copout so Davies can remain wedded to his fantasy turn.
I’m looking forward to how it plays out on screen, though. Archie Panjabi has oozed attitude in what little we’ve seen of her in the part so far, and I’m optimistic that’ll go a long way (see Kate O’Mara).
We haven’t talked about this enough. She’s positively magnetic.
If looks could kill, Mrs Flood would still be regenerating after last episode 🙂
They’re a great comedic pairing so far, though:
