Life (Lemmy?) Pro Tip: The search works on alt text, so if you put good alt text on your post, in addition to being an ally for the visually impaired, it also makes it easier to search for specific memes later.

Yep, same. Before alt text was added, I used to sprinkle certain keywords in the the post body (I usually add some commentary with my memes) so I could find them later. Now I just add good alt text when I think of it, and that seems to do the trick.
