I’d like to think people have always been this stupid but I am deathly afraid that social media has irrevocably damaged the brains of whole generations, like lead in gasoline or paint, to the point that even if we were to somehow successfully sanitize social media the people who have been inculcated with the propaganda would be permanently lost.
