Sadly I’m not adding any more stream service subscriptions so this will go unwatched.

You didn’t cut cable back in the day at $160/mo so that you can now spend $320/mo on streaming services?

Your point is valid, but your numbers are not. If you subscribe to 7 different streaming services simultaneously you’re still not gonna hit 160 a month, let alone 320. And streaming services can be cycled through over time so that you’re only paying for a couple of them simultaneously at any time

I have been a TNG fan for the longest time. Can’t beat Picard at being the unlikely hero we need, and the almost constant (though mild and loving) criticism of Riker’s proto-American brawniness.

But there’s only so many seasons and after having seen them all twice I don’t feel compelled to continue that.

Very recently though, I started watching some more Voyager, which I dismissed the first time round long ago. Particularly, I jumped in randomly at season 6 this time.

And I find it very good. Janeway still isn’t my favorite captain - closer to Riker than Picard I’d say - oh this is going to draw some reactions, lol. But anyhow. They still come up with unique stories and relatable characters etc.

Long-winded way of saying: I have some new-found respect for the Star Trek franchise.
