my inner pessimist believes that world war 3 historians will regard the houthi, iranians, and hamas in the same terms that current historians describe world war 2’s axis powers or world war 1’s central powers.
Ones inside and subservient to the imperial core, probably, if that even exists afterward, sure. Look how they do the USSR, DPRK, Tibet, Vietnam, etc. Any liberation or anti-imperialist movement will be vilified by the oppressors. I will always remember, and I’ll pass on the story.
History will vindicate them no matter what small minded contemporaries believe
only if that history is written outside the west.
