Rather than focusing on the crime of murder, they focused on the victim, who is completely unrelatable, and generally disliked, then they focused on the motive, which they presented in the context of “it was pre-meditated!” And everyone just saw a very relatable person in the accused and collectively we all kind of went “mood” … So I’m not sure what they expected, but that CEO guy that’s not important enough to remember the name of, who died, is not the victim here.
The victims are all the people that were denied while CEO guy was in charge, denied by the policies he put in place, promoted, demanded that people enforce, or any of the above… Luigi is just the latest in a long line of victims that this guy has caused suffering to.
