    Having cars the size of tanks and buildings made of paper-mache doesn’t seem to be a good combination…

      No but see it’s fine and good actually.

      It means only higher floors (briefly) or a similarly armored car or a car moving away quickly is safe. This is freedom. And by freedom i mean eating out the the red queen (harder than it sounds!).

    The building should have been wearing high-viz and a helmet so the driver could see them! /s

    Jokes aside, this shit happens way too often in North America. If drivers aren’t crashing into buildings, they are crashing into bus stop shelters.

      But the thing is that this could have easily been a public transit vehicle that crashed. This article really isn’t super appropriate for the sub

        For sure, and that still happens, but there are considerably more “cars” crashing into buildings than commercial vehicles. And nearly anyone, qualified or not, can drive a car without many barriers to entry.
