The U.S. Postal Service is bringing in-house the operation of its Denver regional mail hub and ending its relationship with a private contractor, which will result in large job losses.

    It’s not like the jobs magically disappeared. The work still needs to be done. There might be some minor efficiencies (mostly in management), but otherwise the work and jobs will just move. Heck, it might even stay there, with everyone now being employed by the USPS. It happens all the time when military contracts change.
