Hey. Haven’t been able to use my friendica.world account in a while now. Is the instance dead for good? Is there a way to retrieve my account data?

    No, it still works fine, but there are several slowdowns due to some critical issues with that database when an instance is very crowded. In theory, they should be resolved with the 2026 release, but you can ask directly @ruud@lemmy.world or info(at)fedihosting(dot)foundation

    It sometimes has issues, but nowadays it’s mostly available. We will install the new release as soon as the docker image is available.

      many many issues actually. Do you have any vision on the 2026 release ?? (apparently still not available on docked download page)
