I really really wanted it for those plus the keyboard until I learned about the Mecha Comet yesterday.

Looking at https://mecha.so/comet it seems like it’s an interesting starting point to DIY a phone.
It’d definitely be interesting to tinker with…
There’s going to be a cell module for it supposedly and they show working telephony on their site so I’m hoping to replace my phone with it. It’s basically exactly what I’ve been wishing existed
This looks really neat actually. Maybe once my current phone gives up the ghost I can find one of these.
