All this talk about ube the other day made me crave it, so today I wore Ube Malasada by Damask Haus. It’s an oil, so I applied it on my wrists because I hate that oily feeling on my neck, the sillage is minimal but its longevity is really good so whenever I needed a little pick me up, I could just sniff my wrists and get some of this sweet goodness in my lungs. I can still smell it after 11 hours.

Gosh it smells good, very edible, absolutely suitable for the gourmand crowd. The fried dough note is so realistic it can feel a little sickening, as if I ate too many doughnuts. The ube note is just perfection, it’s everything the mainstream fragrance market is missing.

Actually when looking at Damask Haus website to fetch a picture, I noticed they have released another ube perfume, and it immediately made its way onto the birthday presents list. I’m really not a fan of ordering from the US anymore because of tariffs and their behaviour but I might find it very hard to resist. We shall see.
