These days, it doesn’t take much skill to make a burger that rivals most burger places, especially considering most places stick to the mathematically sound formula of American cheese and pickles to balance the flavor. It’s safe but boring. So yeah, I respect the spicy burger, even though I know I haven’t got the palate to enjoy it. Still, my home cooked burger has garlic in it and pepper jack on it, so it’s far from bland.
