Why is the Guardian using kid gloves and calling them hard right? It’s a bullshit label like alt-right all over again.
They’re fucking far right, fascists.
I just checked their style guide (it’s an Autistic fascination of mine 😅)… funnily enough, they specifically recommend using “far-right” over “alt-right”. But they don’t have an entry for “far-right”, and I couldn’t find any mention of “hard right”.

use once and in quotes at first mention; use far right at any subsequent mentions. Note: far right (noun) and far-right (adjective). More specific descriptions can be used where relevant when mentioning individuals associated with the movement, but such descriptions should be evidence-based.
Fuck FPTP. They are on 24% nationwide, projections of vast majority are total bonkers.
Either introduce proportional representation or at least second stage of the election (for 2 top candidates) if no candidate achieves over 50% in the first stage.
But… but… but… wouldn’t that affect the “landslides” and “mandates” of governments elected with 30% of the vote? How would they justify their rule without such hyperbolic terms?
