    Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand said Canada would like to see a diplomatic solution to the war in Iran, even as Canada has expressed support for the U.S. military attack that killed Iran’s leader on Saturday.

    That is a hell of a sentence. “So now that we’ve murdered your leader, who is also an extremely important religious figure to you, let’s come to the table and talk.”

    It’s honestly pathetic. Is there a single person not in the Iranian diaspora or making 500k a year who wants to be a part of it?

    I know i know it’s because they need the USA or otherwise they’d be fucked, but still, should really shatter this idea of “democracy” in western countries
