Underground waste bins like these should be the gold standard, best of all some towns in Ontario and private businesses already implement this.

There are various different designs at street level, but under ground theye are all pretty much the same.

And for large formats these are available and in use in some places in Ontario.

And I would really love to see these types in all our public parks and trails.
