Describe the issue: I think the community caching is still a bit too keen. If I visit a community it’s often still the same as last time I was there until I force a refresh. This is impacting “new post” notifications as well as making me think on a manual check that there are no new posts or comments.

Edit I think this is the issue with alt text too. On a “fresh” post I see alt text, if I go to a slightly older one it has gone? So maybe the cache isn’t holding that information?

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Visit community
  2. Manual refresh
  3. See that the posts or number of comments on posts has changed.

    I put an edit in this about alt text but it isn’t showing up here now, maybe it has reverted to an older cached version?

    Alt text mention was that new posts show alt text fine, but slightly older ones don’t - so wondering if the cache was losing the alt text.
