It would be great if that was a standard applied outside movies with queer romances. And is maybe only tangentially related to Pixar telling a director that seeing queer romance will cause millions of dollars of emotional damage to children.

Yeah maybe we can have movies that are completely aromantic. Just friends being friends and overcoming adversity. That would be nice.
