March 10 (Reuters) - Facebook parent Meta Platforms (META.O), opens new tab said on Tuesday it had acquired Moltbook, a social networking platform built for artificial intelligence agents, bringing the company’s founders into its AI research division.
They literally already have Facebook. How many social bot nets does one mega corp need
If it’s just a little profitable they want to kill it
What profit? Are they gonna show ads to AI? Sell the data of AI for marketing research?
Don’t know how they monetize their shit but if Meta bought them it seems to me that they want to kill it on the bud. That’s Meta MO

The whole thing as far as I understand it was “vibe coded” it doesn’t take much to spin up a new startup without a patent blocking it.
-
There’s no users/infrastructure to retain. The whole thing is just smokes and mirrors all the way down. I’m actually impressed and jealous someone will be making bank from this.

All Of Them! Ahahahahahahahahaaaaa…
I am entirely in favour of Mark Zuckerberg holding the bag when “AI” finally implodes.
They were made for each outer. /derogatory
Oh man, why didn’t I slop-code it. Hold it for two months and then sell out to some mega-corporation… Sounds like easy money. Any other very stupid (and easy) ideas still left?
Snapchat for AI? Your openclaw can talk on your back literally :)
Reality favours those who churn out some stupid shit, instead of holding to their principles and making things that matter to them.
Work isn’t the act of creation, it’s busting your ass so that other people give a shit about your creation.
i wish it were an art >o< thatd be so cool—
moltbook is an open source thing, no?..
imean- hes not gonna grow the social media, that doesnt make sense yet.
hes (zuck 🍬) sees more in moltbook than there is.
