Step 2. Spend hilarious amounts of money on the military

Step 3. Use all of it on endless wars

I don’t think it’s geopolitically possible for the US to cede the straight to Iran at this point. It will happen eventually but I suspect it won’t be the realisation of price of American gas that does it, more the realisation of the price of American blood
