Notes: Ireland was still part of the UK at this point; the team playing was the Irish Bicycle Polo Association against the Deutscher Radfahrerbund, which had come primarily to participate in the track cycling events, but apparently were willing to be good sports (ha) and lend their cycling prowess to a friendly match of bicycle polo.
There were no medals awarded for the match - it was only for demonstration.
This looks fun but kinda janky
I play bike polo every week, but these days it’s hard court polo. We play 3 on 3 on tennis or street hockey courts.
It’s the most fun you can have on 2 wheels!
