I used to live in. French speaking country and became somewhat serviceable at it. I’ve left now and I’m losing it, but I hate Duolingo for all the gamification stuff. What’s the best alternative?

I’ve heard good things about languagetransfer.Com but I haven’t had time to test it. I just listen to Michel Thomas audio lessons and sometimes French podcasts for practise. Hard to keep it without anyone to talk to, though.
