The Odin 3’s chip story just got messier, as AYN replaces Snapdragon 8 Elite branding with Dragonwing Q8 across its official landing page.

The real chip is very similar, but not the same, and that’s misleading marketing.

    So it’s similar but not the same as it has some phone/mobile features removed, and appears to be the IoT variant of the same die but it’s difficult to tell exactly from Qualcomm pages because they are vague. AYN was told to change the description by Qualcomm.

    Not exactly bad news but come on AYN…
