I mean except for deranged he’s not wrong. They need to be making the case to the public too but they are terrible communicators to boot.
Democrats just don’t know how to do politics. They’re bad at it.
Dems use right wing analysts to chase the voters who vote instead of energizing the potential votes. They are a captured opposition.
If they want their mega donor money to continue flowing in, they are expected to stay bad at it.

Can’t argue with that. Would feel a lot better if they were trying various strategies at least. As it is now they appear to have the ‘sit back and let Trump fail’ which may end up getting them congress again but I fear conceding the info space will have long term consequences beyond that.

There is no handicap; this is being covered on CNN, MSN, Newsweek, PBS, Forbes, Time, Yahoo, CNBC, USA Today, and damn near every other “Oligarch Controlled” media source you could name. They are even covering MGT and Alex Fucking Jones who are both advocating for it.
I haven’t bothered to check but I’m sure it’s all over Xitter and BlueSky as well.
Any American who isn’t seeing coverage of this simply isn’t paying attention to any news source at all.
Anyone expecting treasonous Republican Congress members to grow a spine is going to be waiting a long time.
Here’s my uninformed guess about what’s happening behind the scenes. Republicans are joining the call to 25 Trump in April to build a high-tension timeline. It’s in R’s and JD Vance’s best interest if they replace Trump at just the right time to maximize the number of terms that Vance can legally serve as president (in case outright stealing the election doesn’t get the popular support they’re predicting). Since Vance will be the new hand on the wheel, politicians are trying to pressure him into agreeing to support them. They’re individually or collectively threatening that if they don’t get the concessions they want in time, they’ll vote for the 25th before the cutoff to give Vance two extra years and, instead, will remove 4 years from his potential reign.
In other words, I don’t think these calls for the 25th Amendment are actually tied to any specific events or ideals other than the usual power plays.
What evidence do I have to back up this conspiracy theory? None. I’m just a moron who’s publicly making known their distorted view of politics.
