This is not even deep thinking, but I feel its really true.

Dem gets in who is tough on oil companies. Oil execs raise gas prices, idiot consumer blames president because its definitely the president doing it with his desk gas price buttons.

Right wing pres gets in who loves fossil fuel , oil execs do everything they can to keep gas low so idiotic Americans vote for him again.

Am I at all wrong ?
