Hmm… if they ever make a business out of it, I hope they put people to actually contribute code or money.
Yeah, companies that earn money should contribute to the open source projects that they are using. Especially in cases like this where the product would be completely different without this open source.
Sweet, one question though, as someone who hate mandatory subscriptions, do you have gift cards available?
Example, I have been a pro member of Geoguessr for several years now, but I have never subscribed, I keep buying gift cards and using them to activate my account annually.
For me this would be preferable.
Whats the difference between that and getting a year-worth of subscriptions and cancelling right away?
Mostly psychological, it feels better for me.
