TBH, I don’t follow foreign politics that closely.
Fortunately, in the present environment, I don’t have to. If Trump supports or congratulates someone, I know they are a terrible person who shouldn’t be anywhere near a seat of power.
I’d hardly recommend reactionaryism as a foundational political position, but it’s correct in this case.
It’s not really a foundational political position as much as it’s a simplistic coping strategy at this point. The firehose of awful is difficult to endure.
