“If you have android, you don’t deserve the files I want to share !”
Many of Macrumors’ commenters are so lost in reality that I try to stay away from it.
I find it concerning that in this day and age we have these tech monopoly crusaders.
“I refuse to expose myself to Google’s data harvesting,” as they gleefully smash the “accept” button on all of Apple’s terms and conditions without reading them.
You know there’s a difference between Apple and google right? Your data is google’s product to sell. Apple sells phones.
Lol. Lmao, even.
The transfer process will allow eSIM, passwords, photos, messages, apps, contacts, and Home Screen layout to migrate wirelessly from an iPhone to an Android device.
Wait… I presume that’s App settings, not apps? I can’t see how migrating apps would result in anything functional.
I would actually assume the opposite. Transferring apps is relatively easy: get a list of installed apps, check the Play Store for the equivalent Android version, and download it.
Transferring app settings is potentially much harder because it depends on how each app handles settings. Could be a minefield of incompatibilities.
