Coming soon: Sapiens investing evolution points hard into intelligence only to kill themselves into extinction with their own inventions.
Wait was the original movie Rogue One? From when they were making out while Scariff was being blown up?
All I got to say is that if you have time to find a beach and make out, you probably have time to find a shuttle and get off the whole exploding-planet-thing.
(And then you have even more time to make out!)
Wasn’t there some kind of blockade shield around the planet?
Not after they shot through it.
That’s what you’re upset about in that movie? They clearly said “Many Bothans died to bring us this information.” and we never once see any Bothans die. What sort of lazy writing is that?
Bothans were involved with Death Star II, not the first one.
I remember playing X-Wing: Alliance and there was a mission where you had to protect a Bothan shuttle. The game was set in the time between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Oh shit, you’re right. I misremembered that as a line from a new hope.
They don’t say what Bothans are though. So we can count those who died as Bothans.
We are all Bothans on this fine day.
I mean, I repressed that. Thank you very much.
holding someone as the end comes counts as making out?
did they even kiss?
Holding hands leads to hugging.
Hugging leads to kissing.
Kissing leads to making out
MAKING OUT LEADS TO THE DaRk SiDe!
In seriousness, though, they went from the top of that tower in the Imperial base to a random beach on the ground. it was just a quick cut, but the tower and the base are both freaking huge, and I doubt the imperials were all just, you know, totally ignoring them. Lets say 30 minutes to get to the beach.
Now, remember wen Jyn explains the plan? they take one hurdle at a time. they solve the immediate problem and the next and the next until either they’re dead or the job is done?
Job ain’t done until you’re safe.
I think you’ve invested way too much thought into all this, but hey, it’s the apocalypse outside, whatever makes you happy.
