Half of all polymarket users bet a dollar on one trade, lost, and said “I don’t think this is for me”
At least half of all polymarket users are smart.
So it’s “ehh this is a throw away bet so I’ll keep the stakes low” or very small bets staying close to 50/50 ratio…
Idk… there should be a better way to visualize this…
Shouldn’t there be some equivalent volume on the left and right? How is there more money lost than won? Isn’t this supposed to essentially be some kind of trade system.
The bank always wins.
You don’t get more of your bet if more people lose. You get a ratio of the amount that you bet. For exemple, twice the bet.
These ratio are set so that the betting platform wins a little on the average.
It took me a while to see the orange bit. Sad Trombone I guess…
