IMO Chinese way is so much better.

Nikolai II became a martyr and has been canonized by Russian Orthodox Church some years ago. Dude got killed for being dogshit ruler and now he’s being worshipped as a saint.

And Puyi became just some dude. Dude that could be seen sweeping the streets of Beijing.

And then both countries got turned into capitalist oligarchies. Way to go, vanguard party!

Both approaches are valid.
