    What a long, whiny peice just to say, “won’t somebody think of the property speculators?” It seems unthinkable to CNN, but maybe most people there aren’t treating their homes as wealth generating tools to be flipped opportunistically.

      I always find it hilarious to watch western news cover China because they always fail to account for the fact that China has a different economic system. So, the whole analysis ends up being nonsensical because it takes what’s happening in China and then discusses it as if it was happening in the west, and then extrapolates complete nonsense based on that.

        There is no alternative - that’s the most basic message all of those outlets peddle.

        So obviously they can’t discuss anything in terms of different systems producing different outcomes.
